I totally agree with Jolisas :) It would be great if the donor report could include all categories assigned to each donor- We end up doing alot for excel work creating direct mail lists. I've used a few other online databases and they seem to have an export ability that dumps all info into a CSV or excel doc. It would be really useful if Ekyros could do that too- even if the number of columns seem ridiculous...lol! Is this on the near horizon?

would it be possible to add the categories column to the donor files report?- I notice that multiple categories are listed on the file summary reports, so I'm thinking the data is available... Even if all the catergories checked are in one cell- (maybe seperated by commas?) it would be hugely helpful.

It would be nice if there was a way to have the staff name input field for whoever does the actual data entry separate than the staff name of the advocate that met with the client. Sort of like the Donation form does... the staff name on that form typically indicates who is doing the entry and does not represent who actually received the donation from the donor. I think most centers share user IDs among a few people rather than one per person. In addition, the person entering the data is ...

thanks Amy We have 10 user Id's- we have multiple sites, and have had almost 4000 client visits to date for 2012 . enough user IDs only solve the problem if we have a way to track the user...but since the client forms only track the advocate then we are unable to see who entered which file... Which is why I like the donation form, it allows you to see who did the input. Is there anyway to add that feature? Seems like its just adding one little field...(hehe...says the girl who ...

I checked it out. and it sure does list which user ID was used to update the form. I'd still value the ability to differentiate at entry. We do have 10 user Id's, but still end up sharing. The volume of files, combined with schedules and sites, requires our data entry to be done by multiple people. The user ID record at the bottom of the form is a big help though- thanks!

I figured out a way to use the "concepts shared" via office forms!! It allows us to track survey results and generate a report for the ED! I'd be happy to share :) email sue@alternativespc.org and I can send you docs with how to.

I just now sent a copy of what I did in the concepts shared form :) Thanks for all you do!

One way we are able to go into a report or apontment book and not leave a file is to open a second ekyros window- this way you can toggle from window to window. Just make sure to refresh so your changes will show on the second window. if you hit ctrl N while viewing a file you can get a duplicate window- great trick I learned from QB online :) Makes it much easier! We do this following an event too- to help guard against creating duplicate files.

is it possible to run a report of a staff listing that includes the notes in columns? That way you don't have to go into each individual file to view notes, but could get a quick snapshot for reporting purposes
