Classes

Is there any way to mark a class as canceled or postponed? Or add extra weeks to a scheduled class when needed because it hasn't met for some reason? We sometimes have classes that get canceled because of bad weather or people on vacation, etc, and I'm not sure how to mark that in ekyros.

Hello RSchuurman,
Thank you for reaching out! Currently there is not a way to mark a group class as canceled, you just wouldn't record attendance for that specific week.

If you have additional questions please let us know, have a great day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Ok, thanks. Is there a way to add a week to the class session if one or more get canceled or postponed?

Yes, just edit the class session and increment the 'Duration Weeks' field. Hope that helps!

It, does - and it seems easy enough. Thank you! I don't use classes myself but one of the other staff members here has been struggling and I couldn't help! I appreciate your quick reply!

You bet! Also, we provide FREE training. Have your staff member give us a call to schedule a training session on classes. We'd be happy to help!

Hi RSchuurman. Thank you for reaching out. There isn't a way to mark a Group Class as canceled or postponed but you can Close the class. It will be flagged with a red flag "Closed" when someone opens it when marked as closed. As for adding an extra week, you just go and edit the Class and add another week to the class. You just would skip editing attendance to the week you didn't have the class.

Blessings,

Maggie Patton - eKyros Account Manager
