recurring clients

I have a question about when setting up appointments for recurring clients.

Is there a way to set up an appointment for a client that comes back every week at the same time, and just filling in that resource or time slot for an undetermined amount of weeks, without having to go back and make a new appt for each week they will come?

Not sure if that makes sense, but in case it doesn't I can try to clarify.

Thank you

Hi Merrym,

We do support recurring appointments for Group Classes when you create them through the group class roster. They show up within the Office/Calendar.

But if you need to schedule a single client recurring appointments through the scheduler directly (such as for Individual education), you do need to create each appointment for each scheduled day.

Conflicts can arise when trying to schedule recurring appointments via a scheduler that are tied to resources. However, we have been considering adding recurring appointment functionality to the scheduler as long as a resource isn't selected. This is currently in consideration by our development team. Is that something that would work for you?

Thanks for your question, and for all you do! Hope you have a great rest of your day!

I have a question about setting up a case. I've recently started volunteering at a pregnancy center who uses ekyros. I've been taught how to input to the program. I have viewed some of your training videos. This center currently sets up a new case for each visit. It's my understanding that you don't set up a new case until there is a pregnancy related change event. Will this cause a problem. Some of the clients have 14 cases or more. Is there a limit to cases that can be set up for one client. Thanks for your help.

Hello KathyE,
You are correct, a new case should not be entered for EACH visit. You only enter a new case for each new potential pregnancy-- so each pregnancy test visit would be a new case, unless it is the same LMP and is a retest. A case is a support cycle, so for a potential new pregnancy (pregnancy test visit) you would add a case, if the test is positive and they return for parenting/prenatal classes that would be part of the same case/support cycle and would be visits under that same case. If you'd like to talk through this further give your account manager a call @ 469-293-3079

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Hello! I am looking at this thread from quite a long time ago.

The ability to schedule recurring events on the scheduler would be very helpful for our center. Has there been any progress on this idea?

I use google calendar for my personal schedule and I think something like that would be a very valuable feature in Centerpiece.

I agree that it couldn't be tied to a resource or that would be confusing. Thank you so much!
