Time cards

I love the fact that you have added time cards to CenterPiece! I've been struggling with finding a good way to keep track, and am hopeful this will help. Of course, it's brand new, so I'm just learning. It seems that in order to enter more than one type of service in a day, you have to add multiple time cards. Am I missing something? I can't imagine very many of us do the same thing all day!
For our center, we have a grant that requires us to track hours paid by the grant and by other sources. I would like to have each employee enter the number of grant/non-grant hours each day they work. Is there a way to put that on one time card for the day? Or will we have to have 2 each day? That makes the lists long, and the process a little cumbersome. Please let me know if there is a better way that I'm not seeing! |

Thank you so much for your post. I am so glad you like the new staff/volunteer hours tracking we have added!
Applying multiple types of service within the same day does create additional time card entries for that day. However, if one uses the 'Save and New' at the bottom of the time card form it makes it a really smooth and easy data entry process.
Be sure and check out the great reporting within Staff Management that go with this feature, I feel confident you will like them! :)
