Safari - tab key function incorrect in Sonogram form

This is my first attempt at Safari..........to enter a NEW Sonogram form.
1 - entered name
2 - tab to result is OK
3 - tab to 'This is a repeat ultrasound'....it goes to Sonogram due date
4 - tab to #weks pregnant - OK
5 - tab to fetal heart rate observed .... it goes to Fetal heart rate
6 - tab to type of sonogram - select from pulldown - tab (as in firefox or IE) nothing happens.- must press space bar to select from pulldown - then tab to next field.
If this is the way it will remain, users of Safari will learn. But to move from IE to Safari, is will require a lot of new learning.

Keith,
Please let Amy know of a good time for us to setup a time to chat with you. I have used Safari, on my Windows machine, and the tab order works perfectly as well as highlights each field. I cannot duplicate the issue-- based upon my understanding of your post-- we look forward to hearing from you soon.

I did not know there was a Safari release for WINDOWS.
I will NOT install and test Safari on Windows. Safari is an APPLE application browser.
I do not understand why a user would want to install and use Safari on Windows unless they are a MAC user, love Safari and would not wish to learn another browser. And it is known that Quickbooks Connector is not supported on MAC, why bother? There are already 3+ browsers available for Windows. Seems a little far fetched for you all to support Safari on Windows when you have the others to consider. Also, it adds to your requirements as a developer.
I will NOT be testing any further on MAC Safari with these many issues on one form. I can't imagine what else I would run into.
I am happy to invest my time to testing the other browsers as these are what I use and would like to help you and see them improved.
I have yet to try Chrome which came as an installed browser on the new Windows 7 PC.
My personal choice is to consider this issue CLOSED. |

Hi Keith,
We will support Safari on both Mac and Windows, I was simply letting you know I tested from Safari on my Windows machine-- as I do not have a Mac. You are not required or expected to use any browser you don't want to. Thank you for the feedback!
