Updated Scheduler Bug - Editing weekly resource
Posted: 21 Feb 2011 04:11 PM
Wondering if anyone else ran into this bug?

I was playing around with the new edit weekly resources that was released today. I noticed that if I had a resource between the hours of 12am - 1pm, that editing was fine and actually very easy. But I ran into issues with the later time slots. Even with adjusting the sliding time bar at the top, it was like I could not scroll down enough to view all the hours that fall after 1pm. For example - I needed to uncheck a 7pm appt resource, I would adjust the slide and click refresh, and the page would refresh, but the grid seems to go off the web page and I am not allowed to scroll down as far as I would need to.

Is there a simple fix, am I missing something? Or is this a bug?
Thanks
Amanda

Hi Amanda,

You only need to click "Refresh" if you change the date you wish to view. Otherwise moving the scroll bar to the right (toward 11:45pm) should increase your view and show you more timeslots up to 11:45pm.

In order to determine if this is a bug i need a little more information. Please send a screen shot of your issue to feedback@ekyros.com. Also please include the version of the browser you are using. Thank you!

Hi Amanda,
I too was experiencing this issue within my Internet Explorer. I cleared my temporary internet files and it is no longer doing it. Please follow the below steps to clear your files and see if this works for you.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. In the upper right corner click on Tools
3. Click on Internet Options
4. Under "Browsing History" click "Delete"
5. Make sure Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History are checked
6. Click Delete

I am happy to walk you through this process also, please call or e-mail me (ashleighg@ekyros.com ext:103) if you would like to walk through this together. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, please let us know if this addresses the issue. Have a GREAT day!

Blessings,
Ashleigh

We are also having this same issue. I decided to be the guinea pig, so to speak, and cleared my temporary internet files and we are still in the same dilemma.

The only thing I have found that works which is a BIG pain, is clearing the whole week and working backwards in time from the end of the days to the beginning. It will only allow about a 3 to 4 hour window to be seen. I know there's more to the page, but the scroll bar on the right can't scroll down anymore at all. Once you clear the whole schedule check the latest time that you can on any day just once and it will then allow that to be the earliest time. So, if you have evening appointments like our sattelite office...well, BIG pain! Anyway, I hope it gets fixed soon.

Desperately lost without Him,

vicky

what version of IE are you using? Are you running IE 8? If not, you might consider upgrading since it is a more secure browser and it's free.

I'm having the exact same problem, even though I have tried both of the suggestions here. Even when the slider is moved all the way to the right, the scroll bar does not let me get past about 1:00 pm.

Hi Ashleigh-
I have tried the above and I am still having the same error. I did leave you a message on the voicemail as you requested but I will not be back in the office until Monday Feb 28th 2011.
Thanks

I am experiencing this same issue. Has anyone had any luck figuring out this problem yet? The suggestion to uncheck and start all over with resources is just too much to deal with. I'm not sure what version of Internet Explorer we have. I'll check on that and see about deleting the browser history to see if that will work. I have called and left a voicemail for someone to contact me from ekyros. Hope to hear something soon :)

Tried this, but no change. I'll try it again, and see if there is any change after the 2nd time. Thanks for such a quick reply :)
