Client Activity Reports Posted: 16 Aug 2005 02:57 PM |
Our center converted to eKYROS beginning July 1. Over 850 client records were converted into the new system at that time. I have added activities for these clients. I have also added initial visit and other activities for new clients. The problem is that when I run the client activity report, the numbers for new/repeat clients are not correct. If an activity is the first one added to a client's eKYROS file even though the client is a repeat client, does this visit get tagged as "new?" Is there any way to make sure the initial/repeat statistics are correct? Thanks! |

Hi Deborah,
Yes, in the current version of CenterPiece, the first set of forms on the earliest date are considered *new* services...any follow-on services at a later date are considered *return* services. In order to fix the stats, you would have to back-enter the prior services provided by your center.
More Info:
In a future release, we are looking at implementing cases. Where a client can have many cases and each case can have many forms (services). See the diagram below:
A Client File ---> can have 1 or more --> Cases ---> each case can have 1 or more --> Forms
When we implement cases, we are considering changes the way new/return clients are calculated.
So here's my question to you:
1) Would you consider services in the first case as *new* services? And all services provided in case(s) 2 and greater are as *return* ?
Or
2) Would you like to mark each case and/or visit manually, by entering the new/return type?
Please advise. thanks!

I would prefer to mark each visit manually. That may be because that's what I'm used to doing though. Thanks for all your hard work, Brian. Hope San Diego was wonderful! |
