Searching for names with apostrophes

| Although we can enter names with apostophes, like D'Errico, the search does not allow us to put in an apostrophe. It is impossible to find the name then. I had to use birthdate to bring up the file. |

Not being able to search for an apostrophe in a last name is causing our staff to enter names more than once, since the search comes up without any results and they believe that the person is not in the database. Since we are able to enter the names in with apostrophes, we should be able to search for names wth apostrphes.
Is there any estimate as to when this will be fixed? |

| When printing batch receipts, the search engine there allows for apostrophes in the last name. You can probably use that code in the donor name search engine. |

Hi Sarah,
I just tried to search in both donor management and client management for d'erico and got "invalid character in search value" again.
Was this fix released? |
