Changed abortion view from carry-abortion Posted: 08 May 2006 01:48 PM |
Just recently we have had a unique situation. A client came for first visit and then a week later a sonogram. She planned to carry at both visits and even spoke about how pro-life she and her family are. We did not flag her or consider to be abortion vulnerable. Over a weekend, she changed her mind and has now decided she will abort. For statistics how do we handle that situation? As of now she is abortion minded,
Thank you,

Hi Georgia,
On the Case Form you should update the "pregnancy status" which asks what are the client's pregnancy intentions AT LAST CONTACT. You can update this to abortion minded. You may opt to update her pregnancy intentions on the actual "pregnancy test form" as well.
When running stats, you will be able to look at a break out of all your positive/negative P.T. clients' pregnancy intentions AT LAST CONTACT by running the "Pregnancy Test Stat" and selecting "Test Result" for measure 1 and "Case Pregnancy Status" for measure 2.
Hope this helps. Just let me know if you need any more help with this. :o) |
