Event Date - Donor Management 2/21/2005 2:33:04 PM   (Total replies: 1)
When recording donations, there is an option to choose an "event." With many of our "events" when individuals donate money, we have no specific date. As with many pregnancy centers, we hold Baby Bottle Campaigns throughout the year. These campaigns rarely have start or stop dates. Within the donation registration form, the program will not allow you to move forward without a date. Affixing a miscellaneous date with everything would get very confusing. Would it be possible to clarify an event ...

Okay, here is the series that I follow to create a new event. Activity>donation form. Within Event (when needing to create another event) I click on Edit List/Add New Item. There are two questions that must be answered to proced: date of event and description. My question was could I bypass entering in the date of the event. Thanks! Sallie

Absolutely. I actually did that with this year's banquet (even though I affixed a date with it). I did like you said...I called it Banquet 2005. For Baby Bottle Campaigns, I could describe them as Winter, Spring, etc. As I understand it, you can print reports by Event or by Date, correct? So this would work well. Good deal..thank you thank you! S

Middle Name 4/3/2006 12:03:11 PM   (Total replies: 2)
Brian - Today, for the first time, I have 2 clients with the same first and last name and the same middle initial. Could you expand the field for middle name to include more spaces to include the entire name? Thanks, Brian! Sallie

Men v. Women search 2/28/2006 10:07:29 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Brian - Is there a way to search for male clients v. female clients? We have just begun our men's ministry, and I like to share how many men are enrolled in the program in our monthly newsletter. Thanks! Sallie

Re: Pregnancy Test Forms 2/9/2006 2:13:05 PM   (Total replies: 0)
Brian - I noticed the same thing - it looks like questions #10 through #19 are missing. This information includes: drug/alcohol use, stress, pregnancy due to rape, pregnancy intentions, partner information and hypothesized involvement. Thanks for looking into it :) Sallie

Initial Visit Form information vs. Case Form 2/15/2006 10:43:39 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Understanding the purpose of the Case Form, there are some things on the Initial Visit that I wonder might be better on the Case Form. As I was updating information on a young client yesterday, I noticed that some of those items on the Initial Visit she entered one way a year ago, she is entering an entirely different way this time. E.g. living arrangements, outside help, victim of abuse. Most items on the Initial Visit form are constant, unchanging. The above mentioned items (living ...

Initial Visit location view 2/15/2006 10:47:45 AM   (Total replies: 1)
When the Initial Visit form is displayed on the "All Forms" portion of the the Activity view, location is coming up as "Unknown." For us, we just have one center so that's no big deal. Thanks! Sallie

Cigarette Smoker 2/15/2006 10:35:28 AM   (Total replies: 0)
Ques. #11 reads "Are you a cigarette smoker?" Nearly 90 percent of the time, our volunteer counselors write some sort of comment over the the right of this question. Either, "Just quit yesterday," or "will try to quit because of pregnancy," or "is having a hard time quitting even though she is pregnant." To me, this is very helpful information to be entered into the computer to be saved. Like in questions #7-10 and others, could we add a dialog blank next to that question to record ...

Block Title Color 2/7/2006 2:02:46 PM   (Total replies: 0)
Brian/Carlye - This is such a petty request regarding the color of the block title on the office forms. For some reason, when the gray runs through our printer, it comes out very splotchy. Is there any way to turn that block black instead of gray? Or, could you tell me how to change that color on my own. I couldn't make it work in Word - it wouldn't allow me to change the color. Thanks!! Sallie P.S. Everything looks great with the new release! I'm excited about what we're going to ...
