Addition to who accompanied client to visit

I love that we can now track who came with client to her visit. Thank you for adding this feature. Any chance you could add "child" to the list? I know you have an option for other, but many of our moms bring their children and it would be nice to track that specifically.
Thanks for always doing so much to make our jobs of ministering and tracking so much easier! |

Hi Adcantrell,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us! From my understanding the purpose of "who accompanied the client" is to discern the "supporting person(s)" who came along with the client. This is based on CareNet's list, I will however detail your feedback and provide to the development team. Until then you will want to utilize the "other" option. A workaround option would be to create, in the Concepts Shared Form, an item titled "Accompanied on visit: Children" so you can pull statistics based on that data. Does that make sense?

| Per Ashleigh's response, it's unlikely we'll add 'child' since this is a CareNet question and they are trying to discern the 'support' person(S) that came with the client. If you feel child should be added, please contact Care Net present your case. Thanks! |

Hi adcantrell,
I am glad you are liking the ability to track who accompanied the client to their visit. We added this to support the Care Net yearly statistical report and so CareNet provided the list that we use. According to Jacob Hall with CN, the 'idea was to find out who is influencing clients that are facing a pregnancy decision.' Currently, the results only pull into the CN statistical report.
Would tracking children that accompanied be okay within the client file...or would you have a need to pull this into stats? Thanks.

Thank you all for your quick responses. That make sense that Care Net is looking for the supporting / influencing person who attends visits with them.
I don't think we will need to track this, it would just be interesting to know how many of our clients bring their children with them.

I was searching for a thread that fit my question and one of my old threads popped up... it is a similar question, so figured it would just rely here.
Care Net asks for who accompanied the client to the visit, but we don't see it in the Care Net Report and could not find a report or statistic that had that info. We may have missed something somewhere, but if not there will probably be others asking the same question.
As always, we truly appreciate all that you do to help us effortlessly track our clients and donors!

Hi Angie,
Yes ma'am, I have added that as a feature request to be considered for a future update, CareNet removed that question from their report so you cannot currently pull through the system.

It may be a stat we would eventually like to pull to see what type of relative or friend normally accompanies the client. |
