client cases and files

I love the new way of monitoring the cases within the client file. I do wish, however, that we could jump back into the file after viewing a case. I lose the "general" tab, therefore, can't get to the client's phone number, etc. There is only the option to "go back to cases". Then I have to go back out to the main menu, click on files, then get back into the client's file. Also, notes can't be viewed from the "cases" tab.

Also, could we add a way within the file to set an appointment. Now, we have to go back to the appointment book. I know in theory this is a good practice, but I don't enter the appointment for a new client until she actually shows. Then, if we schedule a follow-up, I have to go back to appointment book. We, unfortunately, still use a paper book for our scheduling, then I transfer everything into ekyros. (I know, that's so 20th century!)

The new improvements are great but in some areas it seems we are having to jump around alot.

I agree the paper book is a lot of work. My director insists on keeping it. Sooooo.......
Otherwise, I would chuck it today!

Thanks for the info.
