Daily activity report

Margie replied to my original question about generating a report that includes every client file that had computer input on a specific day. She said to run the client files under reports in "client management" and filter by date. The filter date on that report is dedicated to newly created files only. I would like to be able to be able produce a daily recap of any activity for each client, new and exisiting, or at least a list of those client names. This would allow me to see all of the daily activity of the Center including the activities of the counselors. i.e., follow-up calls, correspondence, etc.

Hi, Ashleigh. It's Karole again with more questions.

1. Back to a daily activity report. I've noticed on the very bottom of the client's General page, there is a line that reads, "Last update" and a date. The date is NOT the date of the last activity on the file which to me would be the "last update". What is the purpose of that line if it's not the last activity? If there was some way to get it to reflect the date of the last activity, then it would help to make a search by that date to generate a daily activity report.

2. Is there anyway to get the counselor name automatically filled in for the activity of that day? We would still need the option to change it. New file, new case, case visit and all of the reasons for the visits now requre that we always choose the counselor.

3. Also, is there anyway to get the due date of a positive pregnancy test automatically updated to the one from a sonogram?

ASHLEIGH RESPONSE:
"Last Update" was the last time any changes were made to the client file, period. Regardless if it was under general, cases, activity, notes, etc. This reflects the last date the FILE was updated in any way,shape, or form.


2. Is there anyway to get the counselor name automatically filled in for the activity of that day? We would still need the option to change it. New file, new case, case visit and all of the reasons for the visits now requre that we always choose the counselor.


ASHLEIGH RESPONSE:
At this point it does not auto-fill the consultant name IF DIFFERENT FROM THE PERSON WHO IS LOGGED INTO CENTERPIECE. It does currently auto-fill with the name that is assigned to the user ID you are utlizing. I will pass your suggestion along to development. Possibly we could have it auto-fill with whoever was selected on the case form?


3. Also, is there anyway to get the due date of a positive pregnancy test automatically updated to the one from a sonogram?


ASHLEIGH RESPONSE:
I will pass this along to development. Possibly have it change the "outcome" due date so you aren't losing the history of what date was provided to the client, on the pregnancy test form, at the time of her visit.
